Type of Craft[edit | edit source]

Difficulty Level[edit | edit source]

Very Easy

Supplies Needed[edit | edit source]

  • Place mat
  • Pen
  • Quick Dry Glue (Aleene's)
  • Scissors
  • Crayon
  • Paper

Directions[edit | edit source]

1.) First, cut the place mat into smaller squares--however many rubbing plates you want. You can use a small square children's book as a guideline for cutting. 2.) Either trace or draw pictures onto the squares--pictures that your toddler would want to trace. 3.) Go over the images with the quick dry glue and make sure it is nice and raised. Try making two or more coats of glue. 4.) Once your glue has tried completely, your toddler can put the bumpy side with the image under a piece of paper and use a crayon to trace the image.
