The Victorians brought us many things, including the first Christmas cards! Celebrate the holidays and user in the new year by creating your own version of the classic Victorian Christmas card: steampunk style. Click here to make your own!
These pretty paper flowers are great for creative gift-wrapping. With the holiday season coming up, they're sure to be the perfect touch on top of ribbons and wrapping paper. Plus, you can use any color you like, so they're great for presents year-round, and adorable for baby shower presents. You could even use them to create centerpieces or to decorate party invitations!

right|400px We can't wait to check out Weekend Handmade, by Kelly Wilkison. We've long been a fan of Kelly's blog, Make Grow Gather, where she showcases many of her great craft projects already. In Weekend Handmade, Kelly encourages readers to celebrate the joy of crafting, both for the satisfaction of making something by hand, and because the finished items serve as reminders of time taken to slow down and create - no matter the day of the week. Check out the beautiful trailer for her book. And stay tuned - we'll have more on Kelly and her book here soon!
